Supervisor Barnes called the meeting to order at 5:10 PM, and upon roll call the following members were present: Supervisor Mari Barnes; Trustees Bryna Gamson and Margoth Moreno. Also Present: Clerk Ellen Gussin, Shannon Mosier, Paula Peddle, Brooklyn Peddle, and Grizell Toledo. Trustees Dwayne Douglas and Jackie Schechter were absent as well as Assessor Patty Powers.

Approval of Minutes
The Regular Meeting Minutes of May 12, 2011 stand approved as written and distributed.

Approval of Bills
Trustee Moreno moved, seconded by Trustee Gamson, approval of the bills. Upon roll call, motion carried. The total amount approved for General Assistance is $8,497.71, and the total approved for the Town Fund is $43,661.72.

Public Comment

Agency Presentations

Action Items
A Change in the Contingencies Funds is required by the Township Accountant and Auditor. Trustee Gamson moved, seconded by Trustee Moreno, that the changes be approved as recommended. Motion carried.

Assessor's Report
No report

Supervisor's Report
Trustees are requested to participate in the Fourth of July parade and confirm with Supervisor Barnes that you will be there.

A few food bags from the Pantry will be provided to Family Service for clients that might be in dire need when meeting with a Counselor from the agency.

LIHEAP will not be granting dollars to seniors this summer because of monetary shortages; the Township will step in to grant seniors in need the summer LIHEAP allocation of $150 for electric bills covering air conditioning costs. Trustee Gamson will issue a press release to publicize this service.

Latino Advisory Committee
The next meeting will be June 20.

Pantry Plants Garden Project
On June 4 the Garden was planted and pictures were taken. There were at least 50 people including 30 families at the garden. This year there are smaller plots within the Garden granted to individual families who have agreed to be responsible for maintaining the plots throughout the summer.

Citizen Grant Advisory Committee

Lake County Coordinated Transportation Services Committee/LCCTSC
Next meeting is June 15.


Unfinished Business

New Business
Ada Goldstein was awarded a Recognition Certificate for Individual Dedication at a Lake County Council for Seniors luncheon on May 24.

The gate at Daggitt Cemetery needs to be prepared, and the entire fence needs to be repainted. These items will be completed this summer.

With no further business to conduct, Trustee Gamson moved, seconded by Trustee Moreno, the meeting be adjourned at 5:42 PM. Motion carried.
