Public Comment

Assessor's Report

Supervisor's Report
The report commissioned on Mooney's Cemetery has been received from Tim Horsley, and the Township now has documentation of the underground contents of burials sites. Supervisor Barnes will be looking into landscaping recommendations for Mooney's. The fence at Daggitt Cemetery will be painted this summer, and the gate will be repaired.

Supervisor Barnes asked the Trustees to consider participating in the Fourth of July parade.

Supervisory Barnes passed out a report of services provided by the Township. It is in the form of an annual report but the data recorded is only from September 2010 through April 2011.

Supervisor Barnes reported on the intergovernmental committee she serves on concerning Seniors and the flyer developed by the committee entitled, "How Can We Help You?" It is designed to give seniors general information and will be distributed by the Highland Park Police and Fire Departments when they make calls upon seniors. Trustee Schechter suggested that a similar informational piece should be developed for Highwood and she will take it to the proper authorities. Trustee Douglas suggested Spanish translations be available.

Latino Advisory Committee
Next meeting is Monday, June 27.

Pantry Plants Garden Project
Everything has been planted at the garden and there are some campers that are willing to help out during the summer, which will be coordinated by Sam Piro. Additional volunteers still needed.
