MORAINE TOWNSHIP HOLIDAY GIFT DRIVE 2022
Moraine Township is pleased to once again partner with Highland Park / Highwood schools, and the community, to provide gifts to local children through our annual Holiday Gift Drive. As we did in 2021, we are opening the program to all income-qualified Highland Park / Highwood students and their younger siblings.
We will be offering a “hybrid” approach this season, where sponsors of children preK-5th grade will shop for gifts based on the child’s wish list and clothing size, and children 6th-12th grade will receive a gift card. We feel that this is the most age-appropriate approach going forward.
We are asking sponsors to spend $75 for the gift, or $75 for a Target gift card per child.
➢ PreK-5: GIFTS PURCHASED FOR YOUNGER CHILDREN SHOULD BE UNWRAPPED in a festive gift bag with loose tissue paper.
➢ Students Grade 6-12: the local Target store is the most convenient for our residents, and unlike Amazon gift certificates, does not require internet access. Similar to last year, we are asking that gift cards be delivered in a festive gift bag with colorful holiday candy.
As an alternative, sponsors of older children receiving gift cards can make a monetary contribution to Moraine Township with a personal check or credit card donation on our website and we will purchase the gift card on your behalf.

In addition to your gift, Moraine Township will provide families with grocery gift cards to shop for their family’s special holiday food.
